If you’ve been following my blogs, you know that I rave about warm weather and working out outside whenever I get the chance (with my pup of course!). This morning was the first morning in about a week, that I could feel the hot rays of sunshine beaming in through my bedroom window, and I couldn’t have felt more excited and motivated. Nothing is more inspiring to me than a hot, sunny day! So I woke up, took my Magnum Heat, Magnum Acid and sipped on a cup of Coffee while I wrote out a metabolic workout, after which heading out in the hot sun to rev up my metabolism. What was the result? I am drenched in sweat, my legs are burning, and I am feeling positive, full of energy and ready to take on the day.
I would love to share the workout I did with you this morning, as I did promise you a new cardio routine last week. This HIIT workout is intense and challenging, but it is also short, fast paced and will boost your fat burning potential for the rest of the day.
I started this workout with a 20 minute warm up. I jogged for the 20 minutes, but I regretted it during the actual metabolic routine because my legs were already tired. This made it VERY hard to complete the 30 seconds of each exercise. Therefore, I would recommend a 10 minute brisk walk warm up to get your muscles/joints ready for some high impact activity.
**Don’t skip your warm up**
